Try this dice rolling activity and see if you get an unexpected result!
1. Roll two dice and add up the numbers. Do this 100 times.
2. After each roll, put a tally mark in the appropriate box in the chart on the first page.
3. After rolling the dice 100 times, write which sum occurred the most and the fewest times.
4. Using the chart, count the number of times you rolled each of the sums and color that number of boxes in the graph on the second page. For example, if you rolled a sum of 4 ten times, then you would color in 10 boxes in the “4” column.
